Are lesbians generally insecure, at least the ones who flaunt their sexuality in public?

I ask because in the guise of civil rights, they flaunt their sexuality. I am against parading your sexual orientation in public, either hetros or homos. Should there be a Hetro parade, a parade for those who want to do it with animals, and S and M fans? Will our society be normal if everyone tried to flaunt it in public. Just asking because I am friends with many lesbians and they have admitted to me in private, but never in public do they go around holding up their "cause".

I feel if they have any bit of insecurity they wouldnt express it as much.
